FreeComm was proud to attend the Child Development Initiative Alliance (CDIA) 《Y-WE 2026 - 躍進新里程》 Ceremony on 19 October, celebrating the achievements of youth who completed this year’s workplace immersion programmes.
For FreeComm, this year’s ceremony was particularly meaningful. One of the student mentees who previously trained and interned with our team was invited onto the main stage as a guest speaker to share his personal growth journey with over a thousand attendees, community leaders, and government officials. Seeing him stand before the audience with poise—reflecting on how early workplace exposure helped him discover his calling, build confidence, and transition into an emerging AI and tech practitioner—was an unforgettable and proud milestone for our entire team.
As a digital agency, FreeComm has long believed that corporate responsibility begins with opening doors. Over the years, our partnership with CDIA’s "Y-WE Work Experience Programme" has allowed us to mentor students from diverse backgrounds, providing practical immersion in real-world digital workflows, systems development, and collaborative problem-solving.
In today’s fast-evolving technological landscape, textbook knowledge alone is no longer enough. Preparing the next generation requires hands-on agility, adaptability, and workplace resilience. The impact of programmes like Y-WE depends entirely on the collective willingness of the business community to invest time and guidance in young minds.
FreeComm remains firmly committed to empowering youth through digital enablement. We warmly encourage fellow enterprises, industry partners, and peer agencies to join CDIA’s corporate network, open your workplaces, and help provide Hong Kong's youth with the stepping stones they need to thrive.
